The company was established by Max von Frantzius and his team, who want to contribute to a sustainable change in the financial industry and at the same time achieve attractive returns for their investors.


At CGI, ecology and economy go hand in hand, which is why we combine finance with ecological and social responsibility.



Max von Frantzius has more than 30 years of experience in investment fund, M&A and corporate finance law. He mainly advises private equity, real estate and venture capital fund initiators as well as general partners on the structuring, establishment (including approval procedures with the supervisory authority (CSSF)) and administration of their alternative investment funds in Luxembourg. Overall, Max specializes in all legal and regulatory aspects of working with Luxembourg investment funds, regulated and unregulated investment vehicles as well as cross-border structuring and distribution issues.


Max has worked for 5 years in a large American law firm in Paris and 3 years in a top-tier law firm in Luxembourg. He also worked for 5 years in the advisory department and legal services of the largest Luxembourg Big 4 company. Before that, he spent 10 years as Head of Legal and Member of the Executive Board of a German private bank in Luxembourg specializing in the management of the richest German families. For the last 5 years, he has been an independent partner in a renowned mid-sized law firm in Luxembourg.
